    ​Asharqia Chamber organized a meeting to introduce the model of strategic partnership institutes

    Asharqia Chamber, represented by the Training and Education Committee, organized a meeting aimed at introducing the model of strategic partnerships institutes, in which officials at the National Center, the National Center for Strategic Partnerships, explained that this model revolves around the participation of the private sector in developing and monitoring the training process in strategic partnerships institutes and academies.

    The meeting, which was held on Wednesday, August 4, 2021, in which Eng. Nayef Al-Matrafi, Director of the Partnerships Development Department at the Center, and Muhammad Al-Shuaibi, Director of the Follow-up Department at the Center, and moderated by the Vice Chairman of the Committee Abdullah Al-Ghamdi, spoke that this type of training is based on the participation of the private sector through identifying skills The required development of training curricula and quality methods and participation in the selection of the training service provider, while the Technical and Vocational Training Corporation provides the training infrastructure, and the Human Resources Development Fund “Hadaf” contributes to covering the costs of the training process, as all trainees in institutes are employed by partners from the sector private and registered with the General Organization for Social Insurance from the first day of training, as well as joining them to work immediately after graduating from the institute.

    The meeting reviewed the center's objectives, which are to support technology transfer programs in general and modern training techniques in particular, work to localize technical and professional jobs in the private sector, and work to increase the contribution of the private sector through training Saudi cadres in qualitative and multiple disciplines, and increase and enhance the quality of technical and vocational training in The labor market by participating in attracting and disseminating global expertise in technical training, where partnership institutes provide Saudi youth with beginner employment training on qualitative specializations to meet the needs of strategic partners in different sectors of qualified technicians.

    The meeting mentioned the targeted sectors, including food industries, tourism, hospitality, entertainment, mining, oil and gas, defense, military industries, industrial security, social services, and many other disciplines.

    The meeting talked about the strategic directions of the National Center for Strategic Companies, the most important of which are: Increasing the percentage of qualifying young Saudi women in technical and vocational specializations and contributing more to reducing unemployment rates in the Kingdom by dedicating the principle of entry-level employment with training and matching with the demand in the Saudi labor market by providing Saudi cadres. Qualified people who contribute to building the country, increasing the contribution of the private sector in the training and education process, ensuring the quality of training and thus the quality of outputs, attracting the private sector, and ensuring the continuity and sustainability of strategic partnership institutes.​
